Introduction
This article covers the Image Gallery in Capture X.
In Capture X the Image Gallery presents all the records of what you have already captured. From here you can jump to any image, edit it, review depth intervals, rename a collection, start a remote upload package, import images and of course Upload your images to the Cloud ( portal.imago.live ).
Once you have created a new collection and taken some pictures under Capture Images. Image Gallery will become populated with the records of the images take.
List and Filter Options
Capture X's Image Gallery allows you to List By and Filter the records. You can List By collection to view one record per collection, this record will display the total amount of Images in the collection, how many uploaded and if there were any errors to report about the collection.
You can also select one of the records to enable the option of renaming the collection, or the option of turning that collection into a Upload Package (more on this below). To rename simply click the "Rename Collection" button when in this configuration and a prompt will appear asking for the new name.
List By Capture Intervals will allow you to see the imagery with the context of measurements. It will display each interval, the start depth and end depth, the box numbers if applicable and the number of Images taken for that interval (in most cases multiple images means Wet, Dry and other pictures).
List By Image Details will show a record per image. It will show the most detail of all three options. It will display the ImageryType (e.g. Core Box/Tray) and ImageType ( e.g. Wet) as well as the uploaded status of the Image. Image Details also enables the feature of deleting records, notice the bin icon - if we have any images with their tick box checked those will be deleted upon clicking the bin icon.
We can use the 'Filter By' tick boxes just under the 'List By' together to refine the records displayed for selection.
Editing Records
In any case you need to modify an intervals depth or box number, you can double click on a record under "List By - Image Details" to be taken into "Capture Images" mode where you will be able to edit the image interval, to edit that interval click the 'Edit' button next to where the depths are input.

Deleting Records
There are only a few reasons one may want to delete a record. It could be that upon reviewing the intervals you spot that many images were incorrectly recorded so you may want to start again or it may be that the images need to be retaken with different of camera settings, the reasons will be unique between most users.
To delete a record you need to have 'List By' set to 'Image Details', doing so shows a bin icon above all the records. This bin icon will be unclickable until you select 1 or more records. If you want to select all the records for that filtered selection check the very top tick box.
Create Upload Package
The Upload Package feature is intended for users in remote locations who cannot upload directly from Capture X. What this feature does is turn the whole collection into a folder with the images and a csv file which you can move to a storage device and upload somewhere else in the World via Imago Connect.
To create an upload package, in Image Gallery check the List By 'Collections' tick box, make sure Filter By is checked as 'None'. Then check the record of the collections you wish to package for uploading somewhere else. Upon selecting a collection the button 'Create Upload Package' becomes available at the top left of the record, click this button to continue.
Upon click 'Create Upload Package' another window will appear. Here you must name your package, a folder path will be shown where the package will be accessible for copying from.
Once created a windows file explorer should open automatically in the location the files where created. If not go to 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\Imago\' it will be there with the name you gave it in the step prior, copy this file to the Storage Device you will take to a site with internet for uploading via Imago Connect.
The last step is to upload via Imago-Connect. Download and install from this link -> Imago Connect Download. Run Imago-Connect and sign in, select the 'Upload Images' tab on the left panel, then select your CSV file created by Capture X and located in your Upload Package, last of all check the tick-box 'Is Remote Package Upload' and click 'Upload' at the bottom right of the window.
Imago Connect will then begin uploading while logging the status of every image as it goes up. Do not cancel out of this process until it is finished with the following output:
Updating 97(the number of imageries in your package) imageries...
Completed
Additional Notes:
Once a collection has been packaged you can resume capturing into that HoleID on Capture X, but those new images will have to be repackaged again later.
It's important to only package something at the very end of a Hole ID being completely captured, you may want to do it more than once but that is redundant and may create confusion(*1) later.
It is recommended to run Capture X in Manual Offline mode if you want to consistently use remote upload packages, this will ensure the user remembers to create an Upload Package - Only when they want to upload a set of images.
(*1)If you click upload but your Collections/HoleID are assigned a remote package status, then none of those HoleIDs will upload. You must return to Image Gallery where you originally set it (when you originally created a remote package) and toggle that back to being a live collection.
Import Images
At the very bottom-left of the Image Gallery is the 'Import' button, to get started click there.
A window will appear displaying the profile you are using and what imagery type you will be importing, confirm these before continuing. Click the button 'Add Images' to open a File browsing dialog where you can direct to your Collection/HoleID folder and select all Images in there for import.
