Import the first image
Start up Capture X and sign in.
Go to Image Gallery, at the bottom left of the window -> click Import.
Click “Add Images” to bring up a File Explorer, so you may then browse over to your files.
For now, we won’t import everything, Import the first image of the collection. This is to start our template. Once we save it and set it to default template, we will import all the rest of our images in this Folder.
Ensure the ImageType Imported is correct (only takes DryUncropped or WetUncropped automatically). If your filename is Wet and not WetUncropped for example – it will not be taken from the filename. You will have to select it under “ImageType”.
Once you confirm the collection name, start depth and end depth are being extracted from the filename correctly click “Start Import”.
Image is now imported into Capture X and ready to be worked on.
Applying Templates
In Image Gallery let’s filter our images by Collection.
Double click the first image of the collection to begin working from there.
Click show cropping to bring up the Cropping options.
Apply your boundary crop first. Then apply multiple row crops. Then save the template.
Ensure this template is now set to the “SET DEFAULT TEMPLATE”.
Now we will Import the rest of the images. These will Inherit the default template on import.

Return to Capture Images Mode by double clicking the second image of the collection.
You will notice this image now already has the Default Template applied to it.
For best results ensure all your images are correctly cropped via this default template. Quickly pass through each image using the next button.
You may find that the template comes out of place sometimes for some images.
Just correct the template and save it with a different name so that you may reapply it with another image if necessary.
To apply the newly saved template to an image. Click apply Template, this will not change your currently selected Default Template.
Uploading
Once you confirm that all images have a cropping template applied you can go to Gallery and click Upload.
Once all images are of a “Uploaded” status, view them in the Imago.Live Portal.
