This article follows on from Explore the Imagery Page - Light Table. If you haven't viewed this article, it is recommended you do so before continuing because some important concepts are introduced and demonstrated there. |
Map View provides the means to visualize sample images such as soil or outcrops correctly located on a Map.
Follow along and open www.imago.live and click Try It Now!
and use the following credentials:
User: ImagoDemo1
Password: ImagoDemo1

Select a Collection and Image Type
In this example, we will select Collections which are soil samples.
Steps:
- Change the display to Map View:
As no collections have been selected the view is initially blank.
In the Browse Workspace Panel, Select Soil, an Imagery Type in the Soils Dataset which belongs to the Blackfly Exploration Workspace:
1. Select Adobe Reef:
2. The Active Imagery Panel displays the Soil Image Type which is automatically selected and two Attributes (color and Location), which are not selected. The view is centred.
3. Using the mouse wheel, the view can be zoomed in/out and left-click and hold to pan.
4. To re-center the map, click the location icon in the bottom left-hand corner (above screenshot).
To overlay Attributes, select from the Active Imagery Panel. In this example, there are no Attributes suitable for display in Map View.
