The purpose of this article is to give you a general overview of how to use the importing Tool and the watcher directory option from Imago Capture X.
Import Images Option
One of the fundamental tools of Imago Capture X is to import multiple images at once into the image gallery view. This will allow you to rapidly import and upload multiple data into Imago Portal. If you use this file format for the image name, it will automatically interpret the name of the well/drill hole and the from and to depths:
<collection name>_<start depth>_<end depth>.<extension>
Below is an example of how to import several images using the import tool from Imago Capture X:
Watcher Directory Option
The watcher directory is a tool that will allow you to select a folder from your local disk so that Imago capture X will review it once the order to capture an image is given.
This tool is useful for cases in which you want to use a camera that is not directly supported by Imago Capture X. In this way, we can configure that the photographs that are captured are saved in the watcher directory and from there they are imported directly into the software.
