Imago provides a variety of importing and exporting options. You can import and display attribute data using Imago Connect + Tools.
Steps contained in this tutorial:
- Configuring the Imago portal to Receive the Data.
- Uploading and displaying the data.
Configuring The Imago Portal to Receive the Data
Once logged into the imago portal, go to the account settings. We are going to define the attributes that are going to contain the data.
For this example, we are going to load Geochemistry data, however, text attributes can be uploaded as well. Also, we have already configured our workspace, the dataset, and already have images loaded under the collection 'SI-17-71'. (check how hierarchy data works in Imago).
First, we go to setting, imagery definitions, and then attribute definitions. Once there, we create an Attribute "Assays" that is going to contain our Geochemistry data: Copper, Molybdenum, and Silver in ppm.
Once the Assays Attribute and the Attribute types are created: Cu_ppm, Mo_ppm, and Ag_ppm, intervals can be created and assign colors to these in order to facilitate the visualization of the data. This step is optional but highly recommended.
Image 1. Intervals from the Cu_ppm data. Note the difference in the interval increment, this is because most of the data is located from 0 to 20 ppm.
Second, we create an imagery type that is going to contain the Assays Attribute.
Uploading and Displaying the Data
Having already prepared everything in the portal to upload our data, the first thing to do is to create a CSV file that contains our information. It must contain the name of the collection, the from and to depths, and the Attribute data to upload. Below an example of the CSV file:
Finally, we use Imago connect + Tools to upload the Attributes:
Finally, with the attribute data uploaded into the portal we can visualize it:
