When migrating images there are several tools available that can improve the quality of your images before you import them into Imago. With historic imagery taken without a fixed camera support images are commonly rotated a few degrees from the horizon. This can be a challenge when you want to crop them.
To perform a manual perspective image correction, one of the available options is IrfanView (free software). For small projects, this might come useful.
1. Open the image with IrfanView select Image/ 8BF Plugins (you have to install the plugin).
2. Click on perspective correction.

3. Choose parallelogram
4. Click Set
5. Draw the parallelogram on the image you want to correct
6. Click Apply

7. It will process it, then click Ok.

8. With left click and drag, you can select an area.
9. Then click edit/Crop selection.

And Save to save the image on your local machine.
You can Download IrfanView here: https://www.irfanview.com/
